The International University of Andalusia is a public university created in 1994. Its purpose is to offer specialist, high-quality, multi-genre and continuous education, which complements the education on offer at other Andalusian universities.
The institution has four permanent locations: La Cartuja in Seville, home of the Rector's Office; the Santa María de la Rábida Spanish American Centre at Palos de la Frontera (Huelva); the Antonio Machado Centre in Baeza (Jaén) and the Technological Centre at the Andalusia Technological Park in Malaga.
The courses offered by this public university are based on the teaching of specialised, high-quality, multigenre postgraduate studies. If you choose this centre you can study masters courses, inter-university doctorates, expert courses and complementary training, seminars and summer courses. The centre also promotes the holding of meetings, one-day conferences, and congresses, and encourages new lines of research and publications.
The International University contributes to the creation of an international space for education, and it operates both in the Andalusian region and the international community, with particularly strong links with Latin America, Europe and Maghreb. It is involved in educational cooperation with these three areas.
