University of Castilla - La Mancha » Spanish Language

Students on exchange schemes can enrol on an intensive 40 hour Spanish courses (one per four-month period). Students are required to complete a language test in order to divide classes by level if necessary. Those who attend a certain minimum percentage of classes receive a certificate. Places are limited and in order to obtain further information, the relevant International Relations Office must be contacted.

In addition to these courses, the university organises Spanish courses to foreigners in Toledo, through the "Spanish in Toledo" programme, an initiative of the General Foundation of the University of Castilla-La Mancha. These are varied, multi-level courses, which cover diverse aspects of Spanish language and culture, including extension courses for Erasmus students if they wish.

Spanish courses for nursing and legal staff, engineers and school teachers; summer courses, four-month study programmes, and personalised courses for groups from other institutions, are also available under the "Spanish in Toledo" programme. Students on these course also have access to accommodation at the Gregorio Marañón Halls of Residence, or with host families.
