University of Cadiz » Spanish Language

The Higher Modern Languages Centre of the University of Cádiz organises Spanish courses for foreign student as part of its educational programme. Its main office is at the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts, and it runs a number of programmes intended for the university community and at all those interested in improving their language skills. Its facilities include library, computer room and language laboratory.

The Spanish courses are divided into levels and types Students can sign up for intensive two-week courses, standard longer-lasting courses, and course in preparation for the Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE). They can also opt for registering for a complementary programmes in specialist topics, such as Business Spanish, Spanish Culture, and Contemporary Spanish Literature, among others. For the content and assessment of standard courses, the European Framework of Reference for Languages is used.
